Ice Dogs Split Against the Bobcats

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Fairbanks Ice Dogs split their series against the Bismarck Bobcats, bouncing back from a first match loss.
The Ice Dogs started off with a loss losing five to one.
It all started in the first period where they gave up three goals in the first.
The only scorer for Fairbanks was Jax Murray who knocked in his first goal of the year off of passes from Samuel Ruffin and John Stampohar.
In the second match, the Ice Dogs were aggressive from the beginning, scoring 12 seconds into the match to win three to one.
Stampohar hit the early goal, while Mason Vukonich and Kyle Mayhew knocked in their first goals of the season.
It was also an encouraging performance from their young goalie in Logan Neaton who only gave up one goal in the match while getting 14 saves.
