Hutchison Hawks Wraps Up Matchup With Catholic Rams With A Heartbreaking Loss

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Hawks came out flatter than a week old cup of cola, as their defense had a hard time stopping the Rams attacks on the nets.
The Rams won set scores of 25 to 14 and 25 to 19.
They also received help from Pamela Noll who had 20 assists and 10 kills, while Madeline Muramoto had 21 digs and 11 kills.
However, the Hawks won the match in five sets, mainly behind Allyona Mandgregan' double-double with 10 kills and 13 blocks. Sydney Scott had 12 blocks, nine digs, and seven kills, while Eva Vanover dug down for 26 digs.
Their set scores were 25 to 20, 25 to 23, and 16 to 14.
The Rams drop to eight and ten, with a five and two conference record.
For the Hawks they are now six and eight, and a five and three conference record.
