The Search for a missing Man has a Lead

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - We have an update on the missing man, Jerry Attla.
The 26-year-old hasn't been seen for over a week, and his family is still asking the public for their help.
Two individuals have come forward with information that has helped narrow the search area.
Attla's hoodie and a medicine bottle were found near the river on Chena Small Tracts, a day after his disappearance.
His family and volunteers have been sweeping the river since last (Tue) night.
Attla's uncle, Peter Captain Junior, told us how the community can further the recovery effort.

"Well right now our biggest help we are asking for is just, people with boats that are willing to come out, we do have gas that we can provide. We are asking for individuals to come, here to help search. Even if you don't have a boat, if you want to volunteer, you can come here and there will be boats available." Captain said.

Captain said another way to aid the rescue effort is providing food donations for the search and rescue teams.
If anyone has any information that can lead to the recovery of Attla, they are urged to call the Troopers... or Attla's family at 347-6679 or 750-6769.
