FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Tonight, WE CONCLUDE OUR series AT THE TANANA VALLEY STATE FAIR... WHICH OPENED JUST HOURS AGO.
THIS YEAR IN ADDITION TO A NUMBER OF LIVE ACTS THAT WILL BE PERFORMING UNDER THE BIG TOP TENT ON THE FAIRGROUNDS, THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR THE FAIR IS EXCITED THAT HE'S ABLE TO PRESENT A VERY SPECIAL GROUP THAT APPEALS TO ALL AGES.
AND HE ADDED THAT THE FAIR WILL CONCLUDE WITH A SPECIAL DISPLAY.
"Thursday, obviously, is the big one. The Little River Band out in the Sunrise Arena, and we're really looking forward to them coming to play. I don't really talk too much about their songs, because most people, if you're between about 30 and 70, you've heard some of their music. And finally on Friday night is a paid concert of Marty Brown. He's a country artist that has been here a couple times before, and he's always been well received, so we're happy to bring him back. Finally, on Saturday night there is Shagg and Burnt Orange for music and concerts in the Sunrise Arena, followed by fireworks at 11 o'clock," said Blake Matray, Tanana Valley State Fair Executive Director.
