School Board Members Sworn in to Begin New Terms

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Fairbanks North Star Borough School Board welcomed three members to the board at its special meeting today.
Newcomer Tim Doran, and returning members Wendy Dominque and Sean Rice were sworn into office to serve on the school board.
Superior Court Judge Paul Lyle administered the Oath of Office to the newly-elected and re-elected school board members.
After the ceremony, members then elected new officers.
Heidi Haas will remain as the board president, Allyson Lambert will now serve as Vice President, Thomas Bartels as the Treasurer, and Sean Rice as the Clerk.

"I do solemnly affirm, that I will support and defend the constitution of the United States, the constitution of the state of Alaska, in laws with the Fairbanks North Star Borough, and I will honestly, faithfully and impartially perform my duties as a board of education member of the Fairbanks North Star Borough to the best of my abilities."
