Rex Tillerson's Visit To Fairbanks Sparks Climate Activist Protests

But not everyone was impressed with Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson's involvement in the Arctic Council.

At around 5:00 pm yesterday, over a hundred people gathered at Golden Heart Plaza to protest Tillerson, and the Trump administration's climate change policy.
The event was organized by "Defend the Sacred Alaska," who would like to see aggressive climate change policy, and an economy that moves towards clean energy.
Several speakers took the stand during the rally to express their concerns on Tillerson, a former Exxon CEO's, motives.
A little after 6:00 pm, the entire group marched towards the Morris Thompson Center, where Tillerson was presumably located, to finish off the rally.
