Police Investigating Assault, Gunfire At Local Night Club

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Officials say shortly before two A-M, a fight started inside the bar and moved to the parking lot.
A large group was outside while a victim was on the ground getting kicked in the head and face.
Officers arrived on scene, and heard multiple gunshots from a parking lot just north of Kodiak Jacks.
F-P-D says a large number of people were running around screaming.
The victim was on the ground hurt, but had not been shot.
Reports from witnesses ranged from a gunman shooting at subjects, to others who said the shooter was firing shots in the air, presumably to break up the fight.
The crowd dispersed when officers arrived, so they are still working to positively identify all the parties involved.
The District Attorney's Office is reviewing assault charges on at least one person.
No names have been released yet, as no one has been formally charged.
