FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KXDF) - Wednesday morning, state troopers in Fairbanks received a report from the Watershed Charter School that a man was sleeping in a car in the parking lot.

When officers started to contact the sleeping man, they saw a firearm within his reach, so they backed off, notified the school of the situation, and called for additional troopers.

Troopers then woke the man, identified as 32–year–old David Lensegrav of Fairbanks, and took him into custody without incident.

Lensegrav was jailed on charges of misconduct involving weapons and drugs, and outstanding warrants for failure to comply with probation conditions.
