Interior Friendship Day Offers Window Into Other Cultures

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Those who attend can expect booths and performances representating a variety of different cultures.
New this year are performances by 'Simply Core' fitness group, the 'Red Hackle Pipe Band,' as well as Korean and French group dances.
Admission is free, and the event will take place from Noon to 5 P-M.
Event Organizer, Rosalind Kan, says International Friendship Day is a great way to experience the diversity of Fairbanks.

Rosalind Kan; Event Organizer >> "It's a day set aside for people from everywhere in Fairbanks come and to know our city and see how diverse our city is and enjoy the diversity and also to share the uniqueness and to everybody. It's just really important. We come here, this day, we gather together to share our uniqueness, to enjoy other people's culture."
