FAIRBANKS, Alaska - High winds are causing power outages from Fairbanks all the way to Delta Junction.
This is video of a power pole broken early this afternoon on south Cushman street, causing an outage for one local business.
Golden Valley Electric association officials say it would likely take crews several hours to repair.
GVEA officials say high winds knocking trees into power lines have resulted in more than 30 outages between Fairbanks and Delta Junction.
Those outages are impacting nearly 3,000 customers.
