FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A Fairbanks man was arraigned in Superior court today on charges that he sexually abused a toddler.
23 year old Damon Brooks pleaded not guilty to charges of first- and second- degree sexual abuse of a minor.
According to reports, the Fairbanks Police Department received a complaint from the victim's mother in early January of this year.
The child was two years old in 2016, when the abuse allegedly took place.
The complaint states the abuse occurred at Brooks' home.
In a report, Alaska State Troopers say Brooks admitted the abuse to the mother.
His next court date is set for later this month.
