Fairbanks Man Pleads “Not Guilty” After Allegedly Stabbing Another Man to Death

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A Fairbanks man that sent law enforcement on a man-hunt, after he allegedly stabbed another man to death, pleaded 'not guilty' yesterday in Fairbanks Superior Court.
27-year-old Greg "Troy" Beasley is charged with first degree murder and tampering with physical evidence.
According to charging documents, on September 10th, Beasley and 37-year-old Fredrick Rychart were seen via surveillance camera inside Guy Yazzie's home.
After Yazzie had asked everyone to leave, Beasley is said to have exited, and then entered through another door near Yazzie.
Documents state that Yazzie was carrying a rifle inside the home, but he tripped, at which point Rychart allegedly grabbed the firearm before Beasley began stabbing the victim.
Beasley hid from officials for two days before he was arrested without incident at a transient camp.
