FAIRBANKS, Alaska - She might be older but she has the energy of a puppy.
Koda is looking to be your new walking buddy.
Let's go meet News 13's Pet of the Week.
Kimberly Imbert; FNSB Animal Shelter - Animal Tender>>"Hi I'm Kimberly and this week's Pet of the Week is Koda. Koda is 5 years old, she might be a little bit older. She is a little bit over weight so she would really benefit from a limited diet and lots of exercise, definitely daily walks. Koda came to the shelter looking for a new home, she does really well with other dogs, but she does like to chase cats so she should go to a home without cats. Koda really likes toys, she loves squeaker toys, and has a high prey drive so caution should be used around small animals like smaller dogs even, definitely she should not be around cats. Koda really likes children and she does well with other dogs even if they are rude to her. She is a really friendly girl, she loves really cuddly beds and just wants a life of luxury in her new home. She would be a great pet for someone who wants a to get on a daily walking routine and who wants just a low maintenance kind of a pup since she is already house broken and isn't in her puppy phase. Koda is really sweet girl and has other dog, cat, and exotic animal friends at the shelter who are looking for loving homes."
