FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Emily Bronte fans rejoice, for you too can adopt and fall in love with your very own Heathcliff.
Let's go meet News 13's Pet of the Week.

Kimberly Imbert; Animal Tender>>"Hi I'm Kimberly and this week's Pet of the Week is Heathcliff. Heathcliff is a 6 year old Newfoundland Mix who came to the shelter because he wasn't getting along with the other dog in the home. He has been kept as an outdoor dog but he keeps his kennel clean so we think he can easily be housebroken, he just needs some more lessons on when he has a whole big house to walk around in, he still needs to go outside. Heathcliff loves to be brushed, he is a really sweet dog, more on the quiet side. He loves to go on walks and he is one of our biggest cuddlers at the shelter. Heathcliff is really handsome, he has some tan highlights on his paws and he is really sweet and curious about his surroundings. He had some medical treatment on his wounds and he also had some dental because his teeth were pretty bad. So he has had a lot of work done but he is feeling great and ready for his new home. Heathcliff should go to a home without other dogs and with older children since he has never been around babies. Heathcliff and his friends at the shelter are all looking for loving homes."
