Pet of the Week: Gus the Cat

By  |

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Cinderella had Gus the mouse as her best friend.
Now you can have Gus the cat as yours.
Let's go meet News 13's Pet of the Week.

Kimberly Imbert; FNSB Animal Shelter, Animal Tender>>"Hi I'm Kimberly and this week's Pet of the Week is Gus. Gus is a one and a half year old, short hair, polydactyl, orange tabby cat. HE was brought to the shelter because his owners were moving and didn't want to take him. Gus is really sweet, he is definitely a shelter favorite. We love his extra toes and he is just so handsome. Gus is a little shy at first, he doesn't really like loud, rambunctious people so small children would not be very compatible with Gus. He does really well with other cats and adults so he is hoping to find a cat friendly home. He hasn't lived with other dogs and he is kind of nervous when he hears them, so if there was a calmer dog in the home he would probably do fine with them but really excitable, big, bouncy dogs he would probably find really scary to be around. He uses his litter box really well and he is an inside cat. So he is hoping to find a cat friendly, inside home. Gus has other cat, dog, and rabbit friends that are looking for loving homes at the shelter."
