West Valley and Lathrop Hockey teams earn road wins while North Pole falls in Anchorage

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Three different Interior hockey teams were in action on the road last night.
The West Valley Wolfpack dominated the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears on their way to a 6-2 Mid Alaska Conference victory.
Dylan Savereide, Anton Ruppert, Joe Kimbrough, Dustin Sadler, Coleman Baxter, and Jaren Beckley all scored for the Pack.
West Valley Goaltender Simon Atkinson earned himself 13 saves.
The Wolfpack will now take on Juneau again tonight.
The North Pole Patriots fell to the East Anchorage Thunderbirds in a 6-4 contest.
The Pats were down 6-1 going into the third period but scored three times in the final frame.
Jesse Keith scored the lone goal for the Pats in the second period while Jeff Doty, Brandon Groesbeck, and Daniel Crutcher all scored in the third.
Moses Halbert earned 21 saves in goal for the Patriots.
The Pats will continue their Anchorage road trip against Service High School tonight.
The Lathrop Malemutes were able to pull victory from the jaws of defeat against the Houston Hawks last night in a Non-Conference contest.
They were able to escape with a 4-3 overtime win.
The Malemutes will now travel further down south to play West Anchorage tonight.
