West Valley Volleyball improves to 13-0

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - They defeated their Non-Conference opponents 25-20 in the first set, 25-21 in the second, and 28-26 in the third.
Lane Pomeroy led the way for the Wolfpack with 10 kills and a team-high seven digs.
Eva Heinrichs dished out 10 assists while Sonia McGaffigan earned 7 blocks.
The Wolfpack are now 13-0 this season.
Five more of our interior teams were also in action last night.
The Hutchison Hawks began their play in the Lumen Christi Spike-tacular in Anchorage.

They won their first two best-of-three pool play matchups, sweeping the Unalaska Raiders and defeating the Kenny Lake Hawks 2 sets to 1.
Pool play will wrap up today, the top 10 teams will then advance to the Championship Bracket on Saturday.
The North Pole Patriots swept the Eielson Ravens in three sets last night to improve to 8-3 on the season.

Hayli Blankenship led the way for the Patriots with seven kills.
Jessica Eid earned three kills for the now 2-14 Ravens.
The Monroe Catholic Rams prepared for the Lady Whalers Invitational up in Utqiagvik with a game against the Mt. Edgecumbe Braves.

The Braves won the matchup in three sets. Lauren Grahek earned 10 kills and 10 assists for the now 7-9 Rams.
They face the Braves again in the tournament opener tonight.

The Lathrop Malemutes were swept by the Colony Knights in Palmer last night.
Both the Malemutes and the West Valley Wolfpack will be competing in the Service/Dimond Tournament in Anchorage this weekend.
