We had some Flag Football action out at North Pole High School Wednesday night.

The Patriots were hosting the West Valley Wolfpack in a Mid Alaska Conference showdown.
West Valley dominated the second half of this one on their way to a 38-13 victory.

The Patriots were up 13-12 after the first half, but the Wolfpack went on a scoring frenzy in the second.
Emily Morris and Tessa Lindberg scored in the third quarter.
Lindberg, the freshman quarterback for the Wolfpack, threw a Touchdown pass to Bridget O'neill then ran in the 2 point conversion.
Sheridan Blasey then put the final nail in the coffin with a 40 yard Punt return touchdown to seal the win.

The victory brings the Wolfpack to 4-1-1 on the year while North Pole will fall to 1-3-1.

Both teams were coming off of ties, West Valley tying with Lathrop 6-6 on Tuesday, and North Pole fighting to a scoreless tie against Hutchison on Monday night.

These two squads will both play Hutchison in their next games.

The Wolfpack will host the Hawks on Monday, and the Patriots will face them next Wednesday.
