West Valley Cross Country Team competes in Oregon

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The West Valley Girls and Boys teams competed down in the George Fox Invitational Cross Country Classic down in Gervais Oregon.

The West Valley girls finished sixth out of the 18 teams competing.
Kendall Kramer led the pack, finishing in sixth place with a new personal record time of 18 minutes and 4 seconds.
Faith Widman finished 12th in 18 minutes and 33 seconds.
Bailey Roe finished in 49th place in 19 minutes and 26 seconds.
Emma Axelsson finished in 19 minutes and 39 seconds to take 59th, Sam Starks took 62nd place in 19 minutes and 46 seconds, and Sophia Prichard finished in 95th place in 21 minutes and 18 seconds.
Kramer, Widman, Axelsson, Roe, and Starks will be competing down in California next weekend.
Jack Cater led the boys team, finishing 50th in 16 minutes and 43 seconds. Dayan Mitchell took 52nd in 16 minutes and 45 seconds.
Jack Winford finished 57th in 16 minutes and 50 seconds.
Alex Olson and Parker Stotlz finished 97th and 101st, Olson in 17 minutes and 50 seconds, and Stoltz in 18 minutes flat.
