UAF Women's Basketball team suffers 12th straight Conference loss

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Both UAF Basketball teams were playing in the Patty Center on Saturday night.
The Double-header started when the Women's team took on the Western Washigton Vikings.
The Nanooks fell to the Vikings by a score of 46-38.
Western Washington jumped out to a 25-17 lead after the first half of play and it was a five point game going into the fourth quarter, however the Lady Nooks were unable to cut down on that deficit.
The Nooks were led by Kylie Wallace and Sanni Salonen who both earned 8 points.
Josie Sewell led the Nooks at the boards while Emily Evans and Kaylyn Kelly dished out 2 assists to lead the team in that category.
The Women's team is now 4-14 overall and 0-12 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference Play.
They are 11th place in the GNAC.
They have a tough challenge awaiting them in Anchorage tomorrow when they take on the UAA Seawolves.
The Seawolves are the Top team in the GNAC, sitting at 18-2 overall this season.
