UAF Finds New Hockey Coach

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The University of Alaska has completed its search for the new hockey Head Coach. Eric Largen will lead the program going into the 2018-19 season. Largen has been an assistant for the Nanook hockey team for the past two years. The Fairbanks native also served as the team's goaltender from 2006 to 2008. Largen was previously head coach for the Division III Marian University and was an assistant coach for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs for three years, helping them win the Robertson Cup in 2011. Largen is now the youngest of all Division I hockey coaches at 31 years old.
