UAF Basketball Players Baham, Kluting, and Carpenter earn GNAC Honorable Mentions

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced their All Conference teams, and a few Nanook Ballers earned Honorable Mentions.
On the Men's side of things, Michael Kluting and Alex Baham received recognition.
Baham, the Junior Guard from Wasilla, finished the year ranked third in the GNAC with his point 458 Three Point Field Goal Percentage and third in Field Goals made with 66.
He finished three games with 20-plus points, his season high was his 23 point performance against Montana State on December 2nd.
Michael Kluting anchored the post for the Nanook Men this year.
The Sophomore from Palmer led the team in scoring, Field goals made, total points, and both sides of the rebound category.
He earned 10 Double-Doubles this year, his top performance being his 23 point, 10 rebound night against Concordia on December 17th.
This was the first Conference honor for both Nanook Men.
On the Women's side of things, Lexi Carpenter earned an Honorable Mention.
The Sophomore Team Captain started in each of the 26 games this season for the Lady Nooks.
She also led the team in scoring with 12.9 points per game, finishing with 335 total.
She finished the year with 88 rebounds, 31 assists, 28 steals, and two blocks.
She earned double digit points in 21 of their 26 games, her best performance being her incredible 32 point night in their loss to Central Washington on December 2nd.
