Trio of North Pole Girls earn place on the Podium at State Wrestling Championships

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - It is time to continue our look at this Weekend's ASAA State Championship Wrestling Tournament in Anchorage.
The Interior was well-represented in the girl's tournament.
The Trio of North Pole Wrestlers who won their weight classes in the Region Championship all placed in the top three at state as well.
Patriots Wrestler Kailey Fowlkes ran through the 106 pound bracket to win her third state championship in a row.
She defeated Eielson's Jolie Lucas in a rematch from the Regional Championship match to secure her first place finish while Lucas earned the Runner-up spot.
Freshman Elizabeth Schumaker won the 113 pound weight class for the Patriots while Raeann Jackson took second place in the 120 pound class.
Congratulations to the interior girls who earned their places at the State Championships, you represented the Interior Well.
