Petit wins 2018 CB300

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Copper Basin 300 Sled Dog Race took place over the weekend.
One Musher continued his hot streak with his second straight victory in an Alaskan Race.
Nicolas Petit won this year's race, finishing the 300 mile course in 37 hours and 51 minutes.
Dan Kaduce took second in 38 hours and 54 minutes while another familiar face, Allen Moore, rounded out the top three, finishing in 39 minutes and 4 seconds.
Petit also won the Knik 200 race on January 7th. Both races are qualifiers for both the Iditarod and the Yukon Quest.
Petit is scheduled to race in the 2018 edition of the Iditarod which is set to start on March Third.
