North Pole Hockey shuts out Hutchison; earns goals from six different players

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - We had some High School Hockey action at the Patty Center last night when the Hutchison Hawks hosted the North Pole Patriots.
The Pats were able to skate away with a 6-0 victory.
The Patriots scored twice in each of the three periods while their two goaltenders secured the shutout.
Brandon Groesbeck, Cody Frarey, Cody Benjamin, Jeff Doty, Orin Peters, and Jesse Kieth all found the back of the net for the Pats.
Groesbeck also dished out two assists to finish the day with 3 points.
Tyler Tosch also earned three points by handing out three assists.
Traivin Seibles, Daniel Crutcher, and Ben Bjornstad all handed out one assist.
Patriot Goaltenders Katy Vinton and Moses Halbert split the shutout.
Vinton protected the net for the first two periods and Moses Halbert came in for relief.
Vinton earned 10 saves while Halbert earned 6.
Hutchison Goalie Alayah Brunty made 35 saves for the Hawks.
North Pole will be heading down south to take on East Anchorage tomorrow night while Hutchison will have some time off until they take on North Pole at the Polar Ice Arena next Tuesday.
