Non-Conference Twin Bill sees Eielson sweep North Pole

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Speaking of the Patriots, they were hosting the Eielson Ravens in a non-conference double header last night.
The Ravens were able to sweep this one, starting with a thrilling 44-42 win in the Girls games.
The end of the fourth quarter saw the lead change hands on four different occasions, but the Ravens were able to hold the Patriots scoreless for the final forty seconds to secure the win.
Eielson's Savannah Scott led both teams in scoring with 20 points while Susan Glade led the Patriots with 14.
The Eielson Girls are now 2-14 overall this year while the Pats fall to 3-10.
The boys game saw zero lead changes as the Ravens secured a 48-39 lead.
Eielson jumped out to an 8-1 lead and, although the Pats made it close, the Dirty Birds never gave that up.
The Eielson boys are now 9-7 overall this year while the Patriots fall to 2-12.
The Ravens will now travel down to compete in the Elk's Tournament in Valdez.
