FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Iditarod held their re-start in Willow and the teams are officially on the trail to Nome.
Our current leader is Iditarod Rookie from Nenana Jessie Holmes, who checked out of the Rainy Pass Checkpoint at around 12:30.
Richie Diehl left Rainy Pass about an hour later while Wade Marrs, Ryan Redington, and Nicolas Petit also left the checkpoint this afternoon.
We have had one musher scratch from the race so far.
Delta's Zoya DeNure scratched at the Skwentna Checkpoint due to personal health reasons.
