Nanooks Hockey team continues Home Stand against Michigan Tech

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska Nanook Hockey team will be playing at home once again this weekend when they host the Michigan Tech Huskies.
The Nooks are coming off of a split in last weekend's series against the Northern Michigan Wildcats.
They lost last Friday's game 5 to 3 before rebounding by winning Saturday's game 4 to 1.
Tristan Thompson, Max Newton, Kylar Hope and Justin Young all scored for the Nooks in Saturday's win.
Freshman Forward Steven Jandric earned his tenth assist of the season on Saturday night.
He leads all Nanook Skaters in scoring with 11 points.
The Nanooks will also be turning to a new face in goal as Niko DellaMaggiore took over between the pipes on Saturday Night.
He collected 20 saves to help secure the win.
The Nooks are now at 4, 8, and 2 overall this season and 2,5, and 1 in conference play. Michigan Tech will be coming into this series with a 5,6, and 4 overall record.
They were playing down in Anchorage last weekend.
