Nanook Volleyball team earns 11th win of the season

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - As a team the Nooks led the game with 42 kills, a 34% hitting percentage, 8 aces, 7 blocks, and 42 assists.
Freshman outside hitter from Berlin Germany Lahra Weber led the way offensively.
Earning a team high 10 kills and 5 Aces. Rachel Nichols continued to be the Assist Queen for the Nanooks, dishing out 34.
On the Defensive side of things Riley Podowicz shut down the Wolves with 4 blocks while Maddie Davis earned herself 13 digs.

The win brings the nooks to 11-16 on the year, a far cry away from their 3-24 record from last season.
They are currently 8th in the GNAC with a 4-14 conference record.
The Lady Nooks have two more games left this season.
They will take on the UAA Seawolves down in Anchorage tonight and Montana State Billings at home on Saturday.
If they win one of those games they will tie their largest win total since 2009 and if they win both of those games they will register the most successful season in nearly a decade.
