Lathrop Wrestling Stands tall at John Tobin Invitational

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The John Tobin Wrestling Invitational took place at North Pole High School this weekend.
The Tournament saw North Pole, Lathrop, West Valley, Thunder Mountain, and Wasilla competing.
The Malemutes took first place in the tournament, dominating the team scores with 245 points.
North Pole took second with 170, and Wasilla Finished third with 146.
The Malemutes took first in 9 different weight classes.
Jeremy Bockert won the 98 pound class, Jacob Spencer took the 113, Kobe Ames took first in the 132, Jordon Opp won the 138, Buddy Bockert took the 145, Wyatt Story won the 152, Zachary Tolver won the 160, Josiah Opp won the 170, and Riley Kulash won the 285 pound class.
For the Patriots, Bradley Antesberger won the 220 pound weight class, CJ Fontana won the 195, and Charles Howard won the 126.
Enrique Agnew had the highest finish for the West Valley Wolfpack, taking third place in the 160 pound weight class.
The next wrestling action here in the interior will be on Thursday when the Patriots make the short trip into town to take on West Valley.
