Ella Roberts; Sophomore - Lathrop Malemutes>>: "I think our defensive rotation was a little slower than it should be. We're putting good pressure on the top but not enough. Our shooting, we've been doing morning shooting and stuff and that's been helping a lot. We need to work on our free-throws for sure. But yeah. "
Derek Life; Lathrop Malemutes>>: "Well the beginning of our season was rough. We started off rough in the West Valley Tournament. We had a good showing in Kodiak and a rough patch last Saturday. But conference play is starting, we're looking to get some good W-P-I wins. And we're looking at making it to state, having a good showing at regionals. This year I feel like we're more motivated, and this is only a group of 13 guys. We just want to make state. It's my senior year. I want to win state bad. I'm tired of losing to West Valley."
