Interior High School Basketball teams compete all around the state as regular season approaches it's end

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - We had High School Basketball teams representing the Interior all over the State on Saturday night.
We'll start here at home where the Monroe Catholic Rams hosted the Valdez Buccanneers in an Aurora Conference Double-Header.
In the girl's game, Valdez won 65-29.
Bobbi Mott led the Bucs with 17 points while Grace Hodges earned 16 for the Rams.
The Monroe Boys defeated Valdez for the second straight day, this one by a score of 46-35.
Gavin Jackson led the Rams with 11 points.
Those were the first conference losses of 2018 for the Bucs, who were previously the top team in the Aurora.
The Rams will move up to first place in the conference with a 10-1 Aurora record.
In Galena the Hutchison Boys defeated the Galena Hawks 90-55 in a conference battle.
Mason Young led the way with 24 points.
The North Pole Patriots swept Delta in a non-conference Double-header.
The Patriot girls won 43-31.
Susan Glade led the team with 12 points.
The North Pole boys had to go to overtime but they were able to pull off a 48-47 victory.
Tyler Hudson led the Pats with 14 points while Kenny Peterson secured the win with two free throws in the final second of the overtime period.
And finally the West Valley girls defeated South Anchorage in a Non-Conference game.
The Wolfpack won 50-45.
Sierra Tate led both teams in scoring with 26 points while Ellen Silva added 13.
