Ice Dogs Forward Erkka Vanska makes Division 1 commitment

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Fairbanks Ice Dogs are preparing for a weekend series on the road against the Lone Star Brahmas.
That series will be this Friday and Saturday in Richland Hills Texas.
However, earlier this week, another Ice Dogs Player made his Division 1 commitment.
Erkka Vanksa has signed on to play for Holy Cross University.
Vanksa has been a force for the Ice Dogs this season.
The Forward from Espoo Finland has earned himself 47 points this year with 17 goals and 30 assists.
He has nearly doubled his Point total from last season.
In his NAHL Career he has earned 71 points with 23 goals and 48 assists.
He will now be playing at the next level for the Holy Cross Crusaders who are members of the Division 1 Atlantic Hockey Conference.
Vanska, who has been a major factor in his team's 21 game winning streak, is the latest Ice Dog to commit to the Division 1 level, along with Robert Blueger, Daniel Haider, Luke Orysiuk, Sam Ruffin, Tanner Schachle, Nolan Schaeffer, and Hunter Wendt in this years class.
