FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Two of our 4A Basketball teams were in action on the road last night.
The Lathrop Malemutes split a Non-Conference Doubleheader against the Palmer Moose.
In the Girls game the Malemutes were able to take home a 62-54 victory.
The Boys, on the other hand, were defeated 38-27 in a tough defensive battle with the Moose.
Lathrop will now take on the Service Cougars tonight.
The Boys game will be an Endowment Contest.
The West Valley girls team has been on an Anchorage Road Trip of their own.
On Wednesday they suffered a 90-84 loss to Anchorage Christian.
Sierra Tate led both teams in scoring with 31 points, while the Pack also got double-digit totals from Ellen Silva, who earned 17, and Ali May, who finished with 15.
The pack also suffered a 40-33 loss to the Chugiak Mustangs in an endowment game that won't count towards either team's record.
