H.S. Football: 5 Interior teams playing out of town this weekend

By  |

Our away Weekend for Football will continue tomorrow when three of our interior teams will be playing away from home.

A game that was originally set for Saturday night has been moved to Friday night.
The West Valley Wolfpack are down in Kodiak preparing to take on the Division II Kodiak Bears.

The Wolfpack saw their winning streak come to an end last Friday when the Colony Knights escaped them with a 10-7 win.
The Wolfpack will be looking for every win they can get as it may come down to them and Lathrop for that last playoff spot in the Railbelt Conference.

The Monroe Catholic Rams will take on the Valdez Buccaneers in an Aurora Conference battle.
The Rams were able to improve their record to 3-3 on the year last weekend when they defeated the Seward Seahawks.
They will now be looking to take that momentum into tomorrow's game as they search for their first conference win of the season.
That's tomorrow at 1pm down in Valdez.

The North Pole Patriots will be in action tomorrow down in Juneau to take on the Crimson Bears.
The Patriots have to win their next two games against Juneau-Douglas and Ketchikan in order to secure the #2 spot in the Southeast Conference and get into the playoffs.
That's tomorrow night at 6 pm in Juneau.

Good luck to all of our interior teams playing on the road this weekend.
