After Dominating the San Francisco Seals 19-0 in Monday's series opener, the Alaska Goldpanners were victorious 11-8 last night in a much closer contest.
The Panners jumped out to a 5-0 lead, but the Seals scored 4 runs in the third inning to keep things interesting until the eighth inning.

That inning turned out to be the turning point for the Panners.
Mitch Berryhill scored off of a single from Nick Ames to give the Panners a 4 run advantage.
The Panners would score their 9th 10th and 11th runs of the night thanks to a Home Run from Tyler Henirichs that brought home himself, Nick Ames and Paul Kunst.
The Seals scored 4 runs in the final frame of action but it wasn't quite enough.
Mitch Berryhill went 2 for 3 at the plate and scored 3 times.
Nick Ames was the RBI leader for the night as he went 2 for 4 at the plate and brought home 5 Goldpanners.
He also scored twice himself.
Ben Keizer earned the Win pitching for the Panners, allowing 4 hits and 4 runs in his 4 innings of work.
Andrew Fernandez earned the save with a perfect inning pitching.
The Season-ending Series between the Panners and the Seals will continue tonight at 7 at Growden Park.
