Friday Night Football: Nikiski hosts Eielson, Colony hosts Lathrop

This is going to be a long weekend for fans of High School Football as every single one of our Interior Teams will be playing on the road.
The Eielson Ravens and Lathrop Malemutes will play Friday night.

The Ravens will be in action against their old rivals the Nikiski Bulldogs.
The Dirty Birds will be looking to get back on track in this non-conference contest after they lost their first Conference game in years to the Barrow Whalers last Saturday.
They will also be looking to fill in some positions as Offensive Linemen and Linebackers Kevin Baird and Ryan Armour are still out with injury, that's tomorrow at 4pm down in Nikiski.

The Lathrop Malemutes will look to be the first team all year to take down the Colony Knights in a Railbelt Conference battle at Colony High School.
The Malemutes have overcome their rough 0-4 start and have now won their last two games in a row.
Senior Quarterback, Josh Hernandez, has come into his own these last two games, throwing for 309 yards and 6 touchdowns.
They will need all the momentum they can get against the Knights, who are 6-0 so far this season.

That game is tomorrow night down in Palmer.
