Flag Football: Hutchison earns first win of the season over North Pole

In Flag Football action out at the Turf Fields Thursday night, the Hutchison Hawks were able to earn their first win of the season.

The Hawks were able to shut out the North Pole Patriots 12-0 in the Mid Alaska Conference Contest.
Hutch Quarterback Hunter Taylor helped the Hawks earn both of their scores.
She ran 18 yards into the endzone in the first quarter, and then threw a 20 yard touchdown strike to Lauren Kohntopp in the second.

The Defense then just had to hang on through the second half to secure the win on Senior Night for the Hawks.

The win brings the Hawks up to 1-6-1 overall while the Patriots fall to 1-5-1 overall.

Up next for these two teams, the Hawks will take on the West Valley Wolfpack tomorrow while North Pole will host the Lathrop Malemutes tonight.

Every game counts now as next week will mark the end of the regular season for Flag Football.
