Fairbanks Ice Dogs earn 21st consecutive win

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Fairbanks Ice Dogs were able to move their incredible winning streak up to 21 games in a row after sweeping the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights this weekend.
After defeating the Knights 5-2 on Friday night, they were able to Dominate Saturday's game 7-2.
Four of the Saturday Goals were scored in the second period to help the Dogs secure the victory.
Jack Johnston led the scoring parade with two goals and an assist.
Tanner Schachle earned four points off of three assists and a goal.
Future Alaska Nanook Samuel Ruffin finished with three points thanks to two assists and a goal.
Connor Chilton and Robert Blueger both finished with a goal and an assist while John Stampohar added a goal of his own.
Jax Murray dished out two assists while Kyle Mayhew, Daniel Haider, and Grant Ledford all finished with one.
Goaltender Logan Neaton started between the pipes and stopped 20 of the 22 shots he faced in his 60 minutes in goal.
The Ice Dogs are now 36-5-3-2 overall this year and will be bringing their 21 game winning streak to Texas next weekend for a series against the Lone Star Brahmas.
After that, they will face the second winningest team in the NAHL, the Shreveport Mudbugs, in a two game series on March 2nd and 3rd.
