FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Fairbanks Ice Dogs will be in action on the road this weekend when they continue the RAVN Alaska Cup Series against the Kenai River Brown Bears.
The Dogs currently hold second place in the NAHL Midwest Division with 26 points.
The Brown bears are last in the same division with 17 points.
These two teams played each other earlier this month and split a weekend series.
The first game against Kenai this year saw the Dogs dominate on their way to a 7 to 1 victory.
The second time these teams faced off was a completely different story as the Brown Bears were able to win 2 to 1 in Overtime.
The RAVN Alaska Cup will be determined by a 12-game series that runs through the entire season.
The series is currently tied at one game apiece.
The Ice Dogs have won the cup every year since 2013.
