Denali Conference Wrestling Champions decided in tournament on Saturday

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Our 3A Level Wrestling Teams were competing in the Denali Conference Championship Tournament in Delta on Saturday.
This tournament had a much larger field as there were 10 Different Schools competing.
Glennallen took the team title with a 162 point score, The Delta Huskies took second with 81, and the Eielson Ravens took third with 77, edging out Hutchison who took fourth with 76.
The 98 pound weight class was won by Eielson's Sylvin Carter.
The Ravens also won the 106 pound weight class thanks to Deven Perez.
Glacier View High School's Noah Lucia took the 113 pound weight class while the 120 went to Glennallen's Moses Korth.
Monroe Catholic's Riley Rust took first place in the 126.
Hutchison's Kye Pearce won the 138 pound weight class, Graham Staley won the 145 for the Eielson Ravens, Paul Scott won the 152 pound class for Glennallen.
Glennallen also won the 160 thanks to Kael Gerlach and the 170 thanks to Caden Gerlach.
Susitna Valley's Aiden Jolley won the 182 and David Johnston won the 195.
And, finally, Monroe Catholic's Tanner Clark won the 220.
The Top finishers from each weight class earned a trip to the State Championships in Anchorage this weekend.
