Thursday night the Alaska Goldpanners were looking to keep their winning streak going in the third game against the Northwest Honkers.
The game did not start well for the Panners.
Ben Keizer, from University of Michigan, had control problems early on.
He only allowed one hit but he walked six batters and the Honkers got out to an early five run lead.
The 'Panners bull pen came up big for them though.
The three other pitchers they used combined to only allow a single run the rest of the game.
The big inning for the Goldpanners was the bottom half of the fifth.
They scored four runs to take the lead and they would hold it.
Michael Hobbs came in to get the last five outs.
The Panners stay hot and win their fourth straight game nine to six.
They improve to 4-2 on the season.
Jimmy Endersby, from Cal State Fullerton, got the win.
He came in with two outs in the first inning struck out the first batter he faced.
Then he gave the Panners five innings, where he struck out nine and allowing just the one run.
Nick Kunst, from St. Mary's University finished the game two for four with an RBI and he scored twice.
Nick Ames drove in two runs.
The Panners will look to keep the bats hot and keep on rolling with another game against the Honkers tonight.
