5th Ranked Nanook Rifle Team defeats Nevada Reno

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Alaska Nanook Rifle team was able to get back to their winning ways on Saturday night when they hosted the University of Nevada Reno.
The Nanooks were able to outshoot the Wolfpack, defeating them 4,701 to 4,646.
The Nooks were able to break a program record for the third time this season with their 2,348 point air rifle score.
Luke Johnson and Sagen Maddalena were the top individual shooters on the day.
Both of them shot 1,183 point scores.
The Nanook Rifle team, who are the fifth ranked team in the nation, will now look forward to their conference championships.
They will face the University of Texas El Paso on Friday night and then they will begin the Patriot Rifle Conference Championships at the Air Force Academy, which will run through Saturday and Sunday.
