FAIRBANKS, Alaska - As the Interior gets ready to watch the Super Bowl tomorrow, local eateries are looking to capitalize on high demand for party food and drinks.
Some restaurants are courting the business of those who are looking to go out with friends.
The Blue Loon, for example, is hosting its annual Super Bowl party on Sunday with giveaways, drinks, and food specials.
Others are catering to those who would prefer to watch the game at home.
The Food Factory says it's preparing for strong demand for take-out finger food, offering orders of up to100 wings at a discount.
Food Factory server, Kayelayn Brendel says this is the first time the restaurant has extended its wings deal.
Kayelayn Brendel; Food Factory Server>>: "So what we're doing here is going to be basically a super-sized special of our N-F-L wings special that we've been doing all season long. We're a local family restaurant and we like to give back and we think that for Superbowl Sunday, this is going to be a really fun thing. Orders are for dine-in, take-out and delivery, so if the roads are bad and you're hunkered in for your Superbowl party you can get all the wings delivered or you can come here, watch the game, we'll have it playing on all of the TVs."
