FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The Borough Assembly swore in new members last night, with one incumbent returning to his seat and two new faces joining the group.
In front of a packed house in the Borough Assembly chambers, Christopher Quist took the oath of office for a second term in Seat D.
Joining Quist in being sworn in by the borough clerk was Angela Major, who prevailed in the race for Seat E, as well as Aaron Lojewski, who won Seat H by a razor-thin margin.
Also taking the oath of office Thursday night were the winners of the races for the Interior Gas Utility board of directors.
Jack Wilbur was re-elected to the group, and Patrice Lee won the race for the board seat vacated by Lojewski.
