Man arrested for stealing three firearms at Fairbanks gun shop

A local gun shop had several firearms stolen after three men entered the store and brazenly took them.

18-year-old Latrell Washington is charged with three counts of second degree theft.

According to reports, last Friday, Washington and two other men entered 'Alaska guns and ammo' and allegedly stole three guns.

The owner noticed at least one gun was missing and followed the three out to their vehicle.

He asked for the firearm back, and Washington returned one of the guns.

Upon returning to the store, the owner noticed two more guns were missing.

The Fairbanks Police were then notified, and Washington was arrested within a few hours.
