Grizzly sighting reported in North Pole

NORTH POLE, Alaska (KTVF) - On May 29th, Alaska State Troopers received a report of grizzly bear near the intersection of Plack Road and Gordon Road in North Pole.

The report said that the bear had killed a newborn moose calf in the area.
Witnesses say the bear ran into the vicinity after it killed the moose.

The public is asked to exercise extreme caution around this area.

Troopers also warn the public to not interfere with wildlife, especially while they attempt to feed.
