Fairbanks man pleads not guilty to multiple felonies

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A Fairbanks man pleaded not guilty in Superior Court today on charges of Assault, Burglary, Theft, and Weapons Misconduct.
19-year-old Latrell Washington faces two counts of third degree assault, one count of first degree burglary, one count of theft, and one count of weapons misconduct after Fairbanks Police received a report of an armed theft in December of 2017.
According to reports, Washington and an accomplice also caused a motor vehicle accident with a front loader during the chase.
The victim of the robbery claimed Washington and the accomplice forced their way into the victim's house, and only left after realizing there were children in the home.
