Fairbanks man pleads not guilty to attempted murder

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - 43 year-old David Cagwin pleaded not guilty on charges of first degree Attempted Murder, second degree Weapons Misconduct, and third degree Assault.
Earlier this month, Cagwin was apprehended near his business in South Fairbanks after Alaska State Troopers received a report of shots fired in Lakeview Terrace.
According to reports, Cagwin ran his truck into a car that stopped to pick up a man standing at the trailer park entrance.
Cagwin then allegedly fired a gun at the victim before he and his passengers fled on foot.
