Delta man found guilty of assault and kidnapping

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - David Bucci was originally charged with kidnapping, assault, and rape, but was only found guilty of the assault and kidnapping.
The Alaska State Troopers say in November of 2016, a victim told officials Bucci was over at her home when he became enraged and started punching and strangling her.
This abuse reportedly lasted for six to eight hours.
During that time, the victim says Bucci hog tied her, strangled her with scarves, put knives to her body and made her call her daughter to "tell her goodbye"
The victim says her daughter did not answer the phone.
The woman also said Bucci raped her, but the jury acquitted him of that charge.
